DISCOVER OUR COAST: COSTA BLANCA

 

MORAIRA is a small village and pretty resort half way between Alicante and Valencia comunity, in the "Costa Blanca" coast, in Spain. Picturesque old Spanish fishing village is less than 6 minutes drive from the house [about 1'9 mi.].

 

The village has many shops, bars and restaurants. This area, with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, holds the best all year round climate in Europe according to the World Health Organisation. So you can take advantage of a Spring, Autumn or Winter holiday and relax in the Sun most of the time.

 

The way the coast is facing and the position of the mountains surrounding us favour a microclimate with an average yearly temperature of 18ºC.

This makes it possible to enjoy the beaches for a long time in the year. Little rocky coves combine with wider beaches with fine sand and clear, calm waters. They also have an unbeatable range of services and an excellent, quality which is internationally recognised.

Year after year our beaches are being awarded a blue flag by the European Community.

Motorway north E-15 / AP-7

From Airport Alicante take the highway AP7(E15) direction Valencia.

From Airport Valencia highway AP7(E15) direction Alicante.

Take exit number 63 Benissa/Teulada.

At toll,(set your gage at 0 km) keep left direction Teulada on the road N332.

At roundabout (3.6 km) turn right for Teulada. At end of Teulada (5.3km) keep right direction Moraira. You are driving downhill towards the sea.
